Marie, I am sure you were a wonderful dancer. I however have never had an interest dance, our main difference. I being a writer have spent all my time writing . Trying to make enough money for my family to live. I did not want to end up like my father with no money and have to spent a lifetime in jail.
ReplyDeleteOne of the main difference you and I had was the fact that I never in a million years had to work as hard you ever did!!!! Six hours a day is just completely insane!! Also I have no idea how you tolerated working with your father for so long and however many hours a week you trained with him, and hardly any breaks! My heart goes out to you and the beautiful art work you created with your elegant dances. I have never worked that hard in my life. Hearing how firm your father was really makes me want to go back in time and work even harder at my craft and become a household name for the rest of eternity. But we all can't be as committed as you!
